Assistant Professor Dr. Jirawan Charoensuk and Dr. Wanida Khamphai, lecturers in the Computer Science Program, Department of Computer Science and Information, Faculty of Science at Sriracha, Kasetsart University Sriracha Campus, traveled to Taiwan to conduct a supervision visit for cooperative education (international internship) students at Tamkang University (TKU) during 9–12 August 2025.
👩🎓 Students participating in the International Internship Program:

- Mr. Pichanat Phrommanee (Computer Science Program, Special Program)
The students conducted research on the topic:
“Advancing Aerial Calligraphy Smoothing: From TLOWESS to Gaussian-Based Methods”
under the supervision of Professor Chien-Chang Chen, with the objective of developing advanced techniques to reduce noise in aerial calligraphy brush strokes, enhancing the sharpness, smoothness, and realism of the written lines.
👏 The students received scholarships under the Kasetsart University Students Capacity Strengthening toward Internationalization Program (KUCSI), supported by Kasetsart University and the Faculty of Science at Sriracha (Academic Year 2025). This opportunity enabled students to gain international living experience, learn advanced AI theories, and engage in international-level research collaboration. The program also reflects strong academic and research cooperation between the Department of Computer Science and Information, Faculty of Science at Sriracha, and the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering (CSIE), Tamkang University. 🌟
