🇹🇭 Domestic Student Exchange Program
The Faculty of Science at Sriracha Campus organized the Thai–Vietnam Student Exchange and Training Program (Student Exchange and Training Program KU–TDTU 2026) in collaboration with the Faculty of Pharmacy, Ton Duc Thang University, Socialist Republic of Vietnam, during 21–22 January 2026. The program aimed to strengthen international academic collaboration networks, enhance students’ capabilities for global engagement, and promote tangible exchanges of knowledge, culture, and research. 🌏🤝
The Faculty of Science, Sriracha Campus Welcomes NPIC (Cambodia) for a Visit and Discussion on Research and Academic Collaboration
On 19 May 2025, at Meeting Room 1, 2nd Floor, Building 26, the Faculty of Science, Sriracha Campus welcomed a delegation from the National Polytechnic Institute of Cambodia (NPIC). Assistant Professor Dr. Phoraphat Phuengboon Pansila, Dean of the Faculty of Science, Sriracha Campus, warmly received Dr. Srun Channareth and Mr. Pheng Mengseu, who visited to exchange knowledge, technology, and experiences between the two institutions, with the aim of strengthening joint education and research capacity.
On this occasion, the Dean also facilitated a tour of the Nano Semiconductor Thin-Film Synthesis Laboratory and the Automation Laboratory, allowing the NPIC delegation to explore potential directions for future technological development and collaboration.
This visit marked an important step toward enhancing research and academic partnerships between the two institutions, paving the way for continued technological advancement and international knowledge exchange in the future.
Faculty of Science at Sriracha, Kasetsart University organized the International Summer Course Program in Pharmacy (ISCP) 2024, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Phattharawadee Sumthong Nakmee, Program Coordinator and Head of the Master of Science Program in Natural Products Science and Technology. A total of seven selected and funded students participated in the program.
The program was held at Universitas Sumatera Utara, Medan, Indonesia, under the theme “Sustainability and Innovations in Natural Cosmetics.” It aimed to enhance academic experience in pharmacy and natural product sciences, promote sustainability and innovation perspectives, and strengthen students’ international competencies through academic collaboration and cultural exchange.
During the program, Faculty of Science students received the following awards:
- Best Presenter Award: Ms. Jidapa Sombunchai, 4th-year student in Environmental Science and Technology
- Best Score Award: Ms. Alisraporn Prankratok, 2nd-year student in Applied Chemical Science and Technology
In addition, students engaged in international cultural exchange activities alongside participants from Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand, fostering global perspectives and intercultural understanding.
This achievement reflects the Faculty’s strong commitment to developing students’ potential on the international stage and promoting sustainable academic collaboration.
Faculty of Science at Sriracha, Kasetsart University, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Phuengboon Pansila, organized the Yu-Ku Exchange Students #1 Thai–Japanese cultural and academic exchange program in collaboration with Yamagata University, Japan, with 13 participating faculty members and students.
Held on 28 August 2023, the first day featured an opening ceremony, cultural exchange activities promoting Thai–Japanese mutual understanding, visits to classrooms and laboratories across five academic programs, Buddy pairing and ice-breaking sessions, and concluded with a cultural reception and student performances in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
The Master of Science Program in Natural Product Science and Technology organized an academic collaboration initiative with the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), Medan, Indonesia, to support faculty members and students in exchanging experiences in teaching and learning, research activities, and the development of the Master’s curriculum.
The Faculty of Science, Sriracha Campus, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Phoraphat Phuengboon Pansila, together with the executive team, faculty members, and students, welcomed Dr. Muhammad Ichwan and a doctoral student from the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara, Republic of Indonesia, for academic collaboration discussions and a visit to the Faculty’s laboratories accredited to the international standard ISO/IEC 17025.
As part of this collaboration, the program was honored to host Dr. Muhammad Ichwan as a guest speaker, delivering a lecture on Centella asiatica (Gotu Kola) research on Tuesday, 19 December 2023, from 2:00–5:00 p.m., at Meeting Room 1, 2nd Floor, Building 26, Faculty of Science, Sriracha Campus.
