On 20 February 2025, students from the Chemistry Program and the Applied Chemical Science and Technology Program visited Haru Miki, an advanced strawberry farm under the PTT Group, for an exciting hands-on learning experience.
At the farm, strawberries are cultivated using cutting-edge technology, including an LPG-based cooling control system and a high-tech adjustable light-curtain system that provides optimal light exposure for strawberry growth—8 hours per day 🌞.
Most impressively, the farm also uses honeybees for greenhouse pollination, making the production process even more efficient and fascinating 🐝.
